Sessions take place Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Greenfield YMCA, 451 Main Street. Therapists certified in water safety work with primary care and specialty physicians to develop and implement an aquatic therapy program. The program, which is only offered in Greenfield, consists of:

Warm-up activities

Walking

Stretching

Light swimming

Individual therapy

Aquatic aerobics.
Patients must receive a written referral from their health care providers to participate in this rehabilitation program. Initial evaluations are made in the outpatient clinic. Your physician can refer you to the Aquatics Therapy Program by calling Baystate Health Link:
