Before Baby is Born

Baby Magic

From the moment a baby is born, a family is also born. Pregnancy brings great expectations of hope and love for your unborn child. But pregnancy and the postpartum period can also bring many questions. Babies have a unique way of communicating with their parents, and if you know what to look for, you will quickly learn how to communicate with your baby. When you know how to look for specific behaviors, you will then know what he or she needs throughout the day and night.

This class will cover realistic expectations of your new life together with a new baby for the 1st three months after birth.  Baystate’s New Beginnings Baby Behaviorist will teach you how to read your baby’s cues for feeding, crying, and sleeping. You will learn how to tell if your baby is hungry, tired, or just a little fussy because he or she needs a break from the world. Our goal is to give you some tools to understanding your baby’s behavior so your transition into parenthood is magical.
