Baystate Medical Center offers three career development programs in the field of nursing.
Nurse Residency Program
The one-year Nurse Residency Program, developed in collaboration with University HealthSystem Consortium and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, supports new nursing school graduates in their development as professional nurses.
Practicums for Student Nurses
Clinical nursing experiences at Baystate for students at affiliated nursing schools with bachelor’s of science degree in nursing (BSN), an associates degree in nursing (ADN), or a diploma from a nursing program.
Nurse Midwifery Education Program
An autonomous post-baccalaureate certificate midwifery education program offered in collaboration with the Midwifery Institute of Philadelphia University.
