Thank you for thinking of volunteering your time at Baystate Medical Center and Children’s Hospital. Our volunteers play an important role in helping us complete our charitable mission to improve the health of people in our communities every day, with quality and compassion.
There are currently more than 400 active volunteers within the greater Springfield area. Volunteers are found on inpatient nursing units, in the Emergency room and at the Information desks. They spend time in our clinics and at our ambulatory care centers. In addition to spending time with adults, many of our volunteers share their love and caring with our younger patients in our Children’s Hospital or our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Our volunteers are here seven days a week before sunrise and late into the evening. Whether it’s a comforting word or a simple gesture volunteers make a difference at Baystate Medical Center and Children’s Hospital. If you become a part of our team you will have the opportunity to meet a wonderfully diverse group of people whose tradition of excellence is to provide the best possible care to our patients and their visitors.
I hope that you will join our family of talented, caring individuals!
