Award Criteria:
To quality for the 2011 patient perception satisfaction awards, the following criteria must be met:
- Patient scores must be reported during the 2010 calendar year
- PRC must conduct at least 50 telephone interviews during a consecutive three month period to qualify for a 4-Star or 5-StarAward
National Celebration:
The hospitals, units and providers will be celebrated at the 2011 PRC Client Education Conference to be held during May 1 - 4, 2011, in Omaha, NE.
Patient Perception Awards - What do they Mean?
5-Star Award - This designation is given annually to any healthcare facility, healthcare provider, or inpatient unit that scores in the top 10 percent (i.e. at or above the 90th percentile) of our national client database for the prior calendar year.
4-Star Award - This designation is given annually to any healthcare facility, healthcare provider, or inpatient units that score in the top 25 percent of our national client database for the prior calendar year.
