Mr. Gijanto manages the strategic direction of BFMC in conjunction with Baystate Health's senior leadership. In addition, he is responsible for overseeing BFMC's daily operations, and the medical staff development plan, while strengthening the hospital's ties with the political and business leadership of the Franklin County communities.
Before joining BFMC, he was Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Strategic Business Development, and Chief Financial Officer of Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY. Prior to that, Mr. Gijanto was a Vice President of Finance at Fletcher Allen Health Care.
Mr. Gijanto graduated from Siena College in Loudonville, NY with a Bachelors of Business Administration, and from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Masters of Science in Health Systems Administration. He has been in Health Care Administration since 1982.
