As Vice-President of Clinical, Facilities, & Guest Services, Mr. Moran oversees Behavioral Health, Cancer Services, Neurosciences, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services. In addition, he is responsible for all aspects of the physical environment and support services including Access Services, Engineering, Environmental Services, Facilities, Food & Nutrition, Guest Services, Radiation Safety, Real Estate, Security, and Safety & Environmental Affairs. Lastly, Mr. Moran is the executive responsible for the planning, design, construction and implementation of Baystate Medical Center’s $300M Hospital of the Future.
He has over 20 years of operations experience including the military, recreation industry, hospitality, and healthcare. Mr. Moran joined Baystate in 2002.
Mr. Moran earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E.) from the US Naval Academy and a Masters in Public Administration (M.P.A.) from Troy State University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), and the Association of Facilities Engineers (AFE).
