Pink & Denim Dress Down Day or Dress Pink
Be a Super Hero against breast cancer and show your support of Rays of Hope – A Walk Toward the Cure of Breast Cancer by hosting a Pink & Denim Dress Down Day at school.
Pink & Denim Day is about showing your passion to increase awareness of breast cancer and raise much needed dollars to support the Rays of Hope mission.
How You Can Organize a Pink & Denim Dress Down Day or DRESS PINK
-
Designate a coordinator who will register your company, school or group and receive a kit with everything you need to make your event a successful one.
-
-
Fax it to 413-794-7777, or
-
Mail it to Rays of Hope, Baystate Health Foundation, 280 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA 01199
-
Choose one or more days in October and collect donations from each participant. We suggest you ask a donation of $5 or more!
-
Choose your outfit! Wear pink shirts, ties, skirts, slacks or just a simple pink ribbon. Add some fun by accessorizing with pink sunglasses, jewelry or shoes. Remember, pink is the universal color for breast cancer awareness so wear it proudly.
-
If your company already dresses casually have them wear pink baseball caps or find other creative ways to include pink or denim.
Create your own tee shirts to sell with profits going to Rays of Hope. Get really creative and have fun with your slogan! Tie it in with your school colors or mascot. Sell them at sports games – soccer, basketball, football, lacrosse, baseball, and more!
Hold a car wash, bake & coffee sale, jewelry sale, miniature golf tournament and more!
Register your school and ask for a fundraising packet to be sent to you.
Call 413-794-8001 and provide your name, school, address and phone number.
