Michelle Khoo, MD

Dr. Michelle Khoo is an assistant professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She also serves as chair for the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Committee and the Acute Coronary Syndrome Committee for the VA Medical Center in Nashville.

Dr. Khoo's work focuses on understanding the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying heart failure and sudden death. On May 18, 2006 Dr. Khoo was awarded the Outstanding Publication Award for Young Electrophysiologists (Experimental Research) by the Heart Rhythym Society for her article Calmodulin Kinase II Activity is Required for Normal Atrioventricular Nodal Conduction.
