Katharine O'Connell White, MD, MPH

Katharine O’Connell White, MD, MPH is Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Tufts University School of Medicine. She was formerly on the faculty at Columbia University where she remained for five years after completion of the fellowship. Dr. White returned to Baystate in 2009 where she became the director of the Ryan residency program and expanded the family planning services in both the hospital and clinic settings. She is an alumna of the PRCH Leadership Training Academy (LTA) as the charter fellow, and is a contributing editor for Glamour magazine.

Ronald T. Burkman, MD

Ronald T. Burkman, MD is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Tufts University School of Medicine, and a past Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Baystate Medical Center. He previously was the Chair of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He has been a principal or co-investigator in numerous studies of contraception and abortion for over 30 years. Dr. Burkman has authored more than 350 articles, textbook chapters and books on various topics in obstetrics, human reproduction, contraception, and the menopause. He is the immediate past Chair of ACOG District I.
