Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program-At-A-Glance

Thank you for your interest in our ACGME accredited 2 year Critical Care Fellowship Program at Baystate Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine.  We currently offer 2 positions per year.  Our program emphasizes 20 months of exceptional clinical training and includes 4 months of research in the second year.  Baystate Medical Center serves a population of approximately one million in a region extending beyond Western Massachusetts to include Southern Vermont and New Hampshire, Eastern New York and Northern Connecticut. In addition, we have committed resources to a state-of-the-art 24-bed adult intensive care unit.   The annual patient volume is approximately 1,900 patients, 45% surgical and 55% medical.  The Intensive Care Unit is run by Board Certified Critical Care Specialists whose primary disciplines are Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Anesthesia, or Surgery.
