Career Description

Genetic counselors work as members of a health care team in a broad range of clinical settings, and provide information and support to individuals and families seeking information about medical conditions that have a genetic contribution. Education

Genetic counselors have a masters degree. 

Pre-requisites

Clinical experiences are arranged through the academic advisor from programs that are affiliated with BMC. 

Length of Clinical Experience

Students will complete various clinical internships. The clinical internship at BMC will vary from 14 -25 days.
