Baystate Simulation Center Recognized for Best Practices

Neal Seymour MD and Gladys Fernandez MD were recognized for the Baystate Simulation Center’s best practices in curriculum development and faculty development at a "Best Practices Breakfast" held at the 7th annual American College of Surgeons Accredited Education Institutes Consortium Meeting.

Dr. Seymour, Director, and Dr. Fernandez, Administrative Manager, both served as advisors to interested meeting attendees from the national and international level on how to achieve best practices at individual centers.

Dr. Fernandez is now Co-Chair of the Accredited Education Institutes Best Practices Committee and member of the Consortium’s Curriculum Committee. Dr. Seymour is a member of the Accredited Education Institutes Technologies and Simulation Committee.
