Baystate Medical Center is the Western Campus of Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM), with more than 270 full time TUSM faculty in 9 Departments. Many third-year TUSM medical students spend their entire third year at Baystate Medical Center, and many more spend part of their third- or fourth-year here. Another 70 fourth-year students from 25 other medical schools spend part of their fourth-year at Baystate Medical Center.
